Excellent article however, I want to point out that I attempted to follow your link to the Blackwatch blog (The Sargeant’s Inn) and see the connections between everyone involved but the site has gone. So, in order to still read the site I looked at Google’s historical cache of the page and this was also gone. Still determind to read the blog I went to the internet archive to access the wayback machine which archives most web content and makes it available by date – Guess what?
The reply I got was:
“This URL has been excluded from the Wayback Machine.”
Yes, thats right, “This URL has been EXCLUDED from the Wayback Machine.” That means someone has taken the time to remove any traces of that blog from the internet. After seeing this I’m now starting to worry about the actual blogger himself… I wonder if anyone knows if he’s okay or has also been deleted?

Anyway, thought I should let you know.

I have said that the McCanns NEVER looked for Madeleine because, while their friends were knocking on doors waking up the dead that evening asking everybody to look for the little girl that ‘had been abducted’, it was later established that her parents never moved from their apartment but were busy deleting compromising calls from their mobiles. (This is on record too).
When it was generally felt that the McCanns were not doing enough to find Madeleine and no Portuguese detective agency would touch them, they resorted to a well-known Barcelona Agency to which they paid a substantial sum (€50,000 from memory. It was not their money, was it?). The Agency immediately made a big song and dance of informing the world that they knew Madeleine was being held in Morocco and they were going to get her. I was furious. It took me a while but in the end I managed to speak to the Managing Director in clear Spanish. I asked how was it that a Detective Agency of their standing could make such a ridiculous assertion making it known ‘they knew Madeleine was held in Morocco and they were going to get her’. He tried to wriggle out of it but in the end he said ‘DON’T ASK ME. THAT’S THE PARENTS STRATEGY’.
I am in no doubt that the truth will be known and Justice will be done IN THE END. It is doubly unfortunate that the ‘incident’ took place at the start of the Algarve tourist season so crucial for the Portuguese economy. Otherwise the Judiciária would have cut out all the pussyfooting from the outset.

I can’t believe that nobody seems to have noticed Gerry’s blundering answer when, shortly after Madeleine’s ‘disappearance’, a reporter asked him. This is on record.
Q: ‘What is the purpose of the fund?’
R: It is to continue looking for Madeleine after the official search ends.
He was sure that none of the efforts of the Portuguese Authorities, Polícia Judiciária, Polícia de Segurança Pública, Polícia Marítima, etc. did stand a cat in hell chance of finding the unfortunate child.
The McCanns are the only people that NEVER looked for Madeleine/

It will be very interesting to see how this case develops. The McCanns tried to discredit the findings of the sniffer dogs Eddie and Keela by citing the case of Eugene Zapata, an American man accused of the murder of his estranged wife, who disappeared in 1976 and no body was found. However, Mr Zapata later gave a guilty plea and was convicted of her murder. More details below:

Four years on, post Madeleine the book hype, the silence of the McCanns during the summer months, well after all they are private people, with private lives. Even keen followers of the case, probably are getting to the stage where they continue to wonder, but cease to care. With my lasting thoughts,

‘Within the bounds of responsible parenting’ three children under four, were left in an unlocked apartment for four nights; speculate all you might how frequently they were checked, but they couldn’t be HEARD and they couldn’t be seen, except of course for Mrs Fenn who heard a child cry for over an hour

The we have the disappearance, whilst the parents were in the Tapas. But according to Mrs Tanner’s statements, she saw the abduction, whilst standing in the same road and Mr McCann whilst he was chatting outside the apartment with a friend. The abductor, therefore could not have entered by the unlocked door, since Mr McCann was effectively guarding it. There was no sign of break in, although the McCanns claimed windows & shutters, were open, though not seen by another (Oldfield) who checked the children, after Mr McCann.

Therefore, applying logic the abductor was already in the apartment during Mr McCanns check, abducted Madeleine, missed by Oldfield, then the abductor came back to open the windows and shutters.

Is there any news on this investigation,it seems to me the McCanns are so cocksure they won’t be arrested in the near future for anything at all.I don’t think There will ever be justice for Madeleine or Goncalo Amaral,because the British media won’t print anything that diverts from their fairytale abduction scenario.Poor little child.
